Blazer + Boots + Accessories + Dress

10 Nov

Doing some shopping really got rid of some of the stress from the horrid assignments…kekekeke…shopping is my stress reliever (for real!) The satisfaction you felt after buying things that you like…clothes…jewellery…shoes…

I bought a royal blue knitted blazer from Dotti for $29.99 and I absolutely adore it. When I saw it I just couldn’t take my eyes of it. This gorgeous blazer is really nice to wear on a cooling spring day (when you do not want to wear a thick coat  or a puffer jacket).

Also from Dotti I bought a pair of lovely angel wrap boots for $29.99 as well. The original price was $89.99 and so I basically I saved $60. IT IS SO BLOODY WORTH IT plus it is very comfortable to wear.

From Equip, I bought a cool looking headband for $5.99 and to me it is simple and can be worn when you are going to  parties, dinners & it is easy to match with casual clothing.

This is how it would look like when it is worn.

Also from Equip, I bought an Ivory Diamante Chiffon Flowers Headband for only $5 and it was originally $13.99. Worth it ae!

This is how it looks like when it is worn (Forgive me for my long-ish fringe)

Right now in Equip there is a “buy 1, get 1 free” offer and so I bought a couple of pretty necklaces and only paying for the price of one. I think it is really good offer because one of the necklace is $16.99 – the one with the heart + butterfly + pearl + tassle and the other one is $14.99 – diamond encrusted Eiffel Tower (which I got for free), whereas if I was to pay full price…it would have cost me about $22…see how much i saved from that “buy 1, get 1 free” offer!

Free (Originally $14.99)

Apart from that I also bought a lacy-looking white dress that comes with a belt as well for $35.99 from Valleygirl. I have been looking…searching high and low… for that sort of dress…and I finally found one!

Ps:- I did not buy all this in one day lol that would be insane hahaha

Selina from S.H.E tied the knot with her fiancee

2 Nov

After going through a terrible ordeal, Selina from Taiwanese Girl Group, S.H.E married the man who had stayed by her side during an arduous year-long rehabilitation process following a serious accident while filming a TV show in Shanghai last year.

Selina got married on her 30th birthday in a high-profile ceremony attended by many of Taiwan’s best-known celebrities that was the top story on many local television news stations.

The member of the Taiwanese girls group S.H.E. has undergone a rigorous rehabilitation regime since suffering third degree burns in the accident that took place on Oct. 22, 2010.

The singer needed to go through several rounds of skin grafts and procedures to her hands, legs and back.

Because of her physical condition, the complex traditional marriage ritual in the morning was scrapped.

The wedding ceremony opened at a downtown hotel at 7 p.m. Selina was accompanied by her father down the isle and handed over to Chang Cheng-chung (nicknamed A-chung by friends), a legal consultant.

The other members of S.H.E., Hebe and Ella, and Selina’s sister served as bridesmaids. Pinky, Selina’s pet dog, was also present for her master’s big day.

President Ma Ying-jeou was on hand to give the new couple his blessing, citing the S.H.E. songs “Love So Right,” and “Shero,” to wish the couple “happiness for a very long, long time.”

Ma said that he came to keep a promise he made to A-chung’s father, former Legislator Chang Shih-liang, 10 months ago, and he also wanted to express admiration for the “goodness, beauty and courage” of the bride.

Legislative Speaker Wang Jin-pyng, Premier Wu Den-yih and Hon Hai Chairman Terry Gou were also present.

Taipei Mayor Hau Lung-bin said he and Chang Shih-liang are classmates and neighbors.

Hau said he was happy to learn that A-chung had a girlfriend, but he didn’t realize she was Selina until the group S.H.E. promoted the Taipei Floral Expo that closed in April this year.

The wedding reception was a star-studded night with many of the big names in Taiwan’s entertainment circle gathered to wish Selina well.

Dee Hsu, better known as “Little S,” who is pregnant with her third child, attended the gathering with her husband.

Host Kevin Tsai and hostess Chang Hsiao-yen, as well as singers Jolin, Patty Hou, and Wang Leehom, model Lin Chi-ling, entertainer Matilda Tao and her husband Li Li-ren were also on hand.

Selina and A-chung had been together since 2008, but their relationship was said to be on and off until a S.H.E. concert on May 29, 2010, when A-chung, standing in the audience, told Selina on stage, “I love you, wife,” announcing their relationship in public.

Since the accident, A-chung has been by Selina’s side to cheer her up. The strong support moved many of Selina’s fans and relatives, and prompted Selina’s father to say that “she had finally found a man that she could trust for the rest of her life.”
